Since JAFSCD's inaugural issue in 2010, our vision has been to provide applied, peer-reviewed research to practitioners who work on agriculture and food system issues in order to support their efforts to transform communities through food and agriculture–based community development.
Using a subscription model greatly limits access to our content—especially by those working in low-resource communities. The community supported journal is an innovative funding model, and we hope you'll agree that it's an opportunity to broaden JAFSCD's reach and the impact of our authors' research by spreading the cost among supportive entities.
We are accepting pledges now through August 2017, but payment is not due until we reach our threshold. Read more here. Please consider becoming a shareholder, and share this with your program and your networks!
