JAFSCD has created "Editorial Circles" or "ECs" composed of and led by members of the JAFSCD Shareholder Consortium, including shareholders, authors, reviewers, and others. ECs are essentially working groups of scholars and practitioners dedicated to identifying focal areas for research and practice, as well as elevating the work of emerging authors. ECs are autonomous, led by Associate Editors, and may engage in a wide range of activities, including writing a quarterly column, issuing special topic calls for papers and briefs, and mentoring graduate students and new authors.
